DISPRIN 81^®Tablets

COMPOSITION:

Tablet: Each enteric coated tablet contains Acetylsalicylic Acid (BP) 81 mg.

INDICATIONS:

Indications related to inhibition of platelet aggregation: To reduce the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with unstable angina or in patients who have had a previous myocardial infarction. To reduce the risk of recurrent transient ischaemic attacks or stroke in patients who have had transient ischaemia of the brain due to fibrin platelet emboli. To reduce the risk of graft occlusion following aorta coronary by-pass surgery.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Acetylsalicylic Acid should not be administered to patients with haemorrhagic disorders, gout, or those with an intolerance to Acetylsalicylic Acid (especially Acetylsalicylic Acid-sensitive asthmatics).

DOSAGE:

Adults:

For inhibition of platelet aggregation:

1-3 tablets as directed by your doctor to be taken every day, preferably at the same time each day.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergic reactions, dizziness, nausea, tinnitus, vertigo, GI ulcerations, bronchospasm, renal dysfunction, abscess formation after IM administration, pancytopenia, acid-base balance DO, increase bleeding time.
